A warm expat family with 3 children, Rio (8 yrs), Sinai (5 yrs) and Leni (1 yrs). They have a limited number of square meters at their disposal, they live in the neighbourhood Amsterdamse Pijp. The current room had to be split into 2 rooms so that Rio got more privacy and Leni can sleep with Sinai eventually. Together we examined what their wishes and needs were and translated this into a design where security, privacy and playing are the most important aspects .
